I have been reflecting on a sticky situation at home that has been percolating since the summer. I thought about the 3rd house which governs neighbors, brothers and sisters. Jupiter and Uranus are there this year. Uranus was already in my 3rd house last year (approaching the square to my natal Pluto) and I had an unexpected family situation, a typical example of Uranus, but in time I got over it. The dust settled. I’ve seen some crazy stuff with Uranus in various areas of my life. Astrologers say expect the unexpected. If that ain’t the truth!
What is happening in my 3rd house? Well, it’s the neighbors. The sticky situation heated up in August with the people next door. They aren’t nice people to begin with. They complain about everything. Uranus Rx has been stationing, exactly square my natal Pluto (7th house of marriage but also direct enemies). Anyhow, we had a direct, heated encounter. Basically, they were mad about something I had no control over. I won’t go into details. They were not flexible or understanding. The issue resolved itself and went away but they haven’t said hello or made eye contact since then. Apparently, the damage is done.
I’m really good at ferreting out information so I looked online and found out the wife is my age, a Leo born in August 1954. Her Sun and Pluto are in the same place as my 7th house Venus and Pluto. This explains a lot. We are probably karmic enemies going way back. We’ve been neighbors for twenty years. She must be in my life for a reason. Some people with the Sun conjunct Pluto can be pretty nasty. Her husband is a Gemini. He blows with the wind and at times he has been friendly to me. But he goes along with whatever she says. Jupiter has been retrograde in Taurus for the last few months, stationing and going direct on New Year’s Eve. Jupiter and Uranus are not in conjunction but getting closer. Jupiter expands the effects of other planets. Watch when they are in exact conjunction next April. Uranus Rx will station at the end of January. Maybe something will happen to get the wheels of change turning. The takeaway here is that you can’t expect people to be forgiving, flexible or understanding. They aren’t necessarily going to see things your way even if you are right. Let this one go. By the way, this conjunction will have a national as well as world-wide impact. Watch what happens in April with the presidential race picking up momentum. Events may take an unexpected turn.
Now at posting time, the sea is calm. On a happy note, the Winter Solstice is coming on December 22 and the holiday season is upon us. Peace on earth, good will to all men, even the people next door. After all, this is the true meaning of Christmas. Do something nice for someone else. Lend a helping hand. The nights are long. Cuddle up at home, watch holiday movies and have a hot toddy. Enjoy the holidays with your family. Count your blessings. Look forward to a peaceful, happy new year. Start with a clean slate.
