Venus and Jupiter are kissing in the evening sky as this month opens! What a lovely sight!
This month’s graphic offering features a stunning celestial show from February 21. Jupiter, Venus and the crescent Moon. Mars is a little further to the southeast and directly above.
This month Saturn enters Pisces for a 2 ½ year stay. The combination of Saturn and Neptune (ruler of Pisces) energies reminds me of two different kinds of dogs cross breeding, so to speak. Just an illustration. Like a Chesapeake Bay retriever and a black Labrador, for example. The result is a bigger, better, smarter critter. I and others born in the early 1950s have Saturn conjunct Neptune. It is a powerful aspect which brings wisdom, spiritual awareness and personal evolution. Some people might miss out on it altogether, but there are great possibilities. Some will simply grow up, since it is an aspect of maturity. Others will have important experiences, inspiration and revelation. In 2025 Saturn will catch up and join transiting Neptune on the cusp of Pisces/Aries, which will make things even more interesting!

Saturn: Endurance, patience, maturity, leadership, ambition, ability to focus and work hard.
Neptune: Illusion, dreams, fantasy, escapism, creative inspiration and spiritual revelation.
And guess what, Pluto is finally moving out of Capricorn, after all this time. He has camped out there since 2008. Pluto enters Aquarius March 23 and stations in May. He moves back into Capricorn in June, stations again, and in January 2024 enters Aquarius again. There is a subconscious energy change, mainly in the world at large. I plan to write more about Pluto next month. Wait, there is more. Mars enters Cancer on March 25, and that energy change will definitely be felt. Mars is not so subtle, I can tell you. I’m a Cancer. I will get a jumpstart, that’s for sure.

Mercury comes in on March 19. Jupiter and Venus are here until the 16th. There is a lot of planetary activity in Aries on top of the Spring Equinox. Communications, romance, social life and self-promotion are favored throughout the month. Because of Jupiter and Venus during the first half of the month, everything is rosy. Relationships and finance are favored. There are new beginnings of all kinds. You can start a new job, for example. A new chapter begins.
Venus arrives in her home port on March 16. This is lovely for Taurus people. Romance is favored. Venus conjunct Uranus on March 30 could bring a big surprise. Family and friends are closer now. Love is all around. Pamper yourself. Go shopping. Money may come to you. The bank account looks healthy. Plan on doing some gardening. Digging in the dirt is good for you. Real estate, business and property matters are favored. This is a good time to buy a house.
While Mars is still here, finish up projects and tie up loose ends. Not much change this month, but when Saturn moves into Pisces, that is your house of career and public life. You may have more responsibility or move up in the world during the next year. It is something you have earned. The chickens come home to roost. The Sun in Pisces, briefly, may bring you some recognition. Make a good impression and take advantage of connections and opportunities.
Mars arrives here on March 25. You will feel a definite change that day, especially with the Sun just entering Aries, a fire sign. This is a positive high energy cycle. Plan on having lots of work to do, or a new project. If you don’t make yourself useful, the energy could backfire and you could be accident-prone. Or you could be cranky and moody. Think good thoughts and keep an optimistic outlook. As a Cancer I am always excited when Mars gets here!
Saturn leaving Aquarius will be a relief for some of you. Legal affairs, finances, wills, inheritance and property will require your attention in the coming year. It’s not necessarily difficult, it’s just stuff you have to take care of. The planets in Aries will make things interesting. Read about Aries. Romance, friendships, travel, adventure and new experiences are favored. Have a good time. In some way, fortune is on your side and you get a lucky break.
Saturn arriving in Pisces will impact marriage and relationships, including business. There are several ways it could go. Marriage plans may be delayed. You could marry an older person. Or, a spouse could be incapacitated and require home care. Your responsibilities will greater. He/she may be a burden, but be patient and don’t think of yourself. In sickness and in health, remember. On a cheerier note, Venus in Taurus is very good for travel. Plan a nice vacation.

In your career, you might be stuck in a rut, but on the other hand, you might get a promotion or be put in charge. You have earned this. I know someone who was offered a great job on his birthday, and Saturn was right on his Sun. When Saturn was on my Sun, I got a big raise from out of nowhere. So, work hard and keep your nose clean. It pays off. You never know!
