Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on September 18, setting up a new firestorm in Washington. On top of trying to get re-elected, with Biden advancing on him in November, Trump is flexing his muscle hoping to install his own conservative selection to fill the vacant seat at the SCOTUS. His choice may or may not be confirmed before January. It would appear to create a 6-3 conservative slate of justices. As of this date it remains to be seen.
The notorious RBG was a Pisces, born March 15, 1933. She had a marvelous Grand Trine in water with Moon, Venus and Pluto. Someone was always there to help her. Also, the Sun was trine Pluto. Transformation and re-birth. She suffered from cancer for about 20 years and pulled back miraculously from death several times. The Moon was square Saturn. Her mother died when she was just a teenager. This square plus Uranus square Pluto may have had something to do with her obstacles trying to get ahead in her career. She was demoted at one job because she was pregnant. Her mother was very supportive and encouraging of Ruth’s early education. The Sun and Venus were opposite Mars, Neptune and Jupiter. She was a hard-working advocate of gender equality and women’s rights. The more Ruth was pushed back, the more determined she was. Uranus square Pluto gave her the strong drive towards effecting radical change and breaking down the barriers for women.
In other news: The conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto, all moving in forward motion again, continues to weigh heavily on the country, and is squared by Mars until mid-December. The conservative government is sitting on us. The Covid-19 pandemic has not yet abated, with over 200,000 deaths. Higher taxes are coming due a drastic drain in revenues. There are limitations on travel, unemployment, and the possible revocation of Obamacare by the Trump administration that would leave many people without health insurance. The challenge from Mars gives the continued violent protests in various cities against police because of gun violence and racial injustice.
The election hangs over our heads. Scorpio Joe Biden is gaining in the polls but who knows what machinations Gemini Donald Trump and his minions will throw in his path. He is claiming ballot fraud but he will likely approve of fraud if it gets him re-elected. There will be no smooth transition of power. His behavior is childish and as bad as ever. I don’t even want to talk about the debate debacle. Tell me why he could not pay his respects at the lying-in-state at the capitol of Justice Ginsburg and other dignitaries such as John McCain. Because he knows nothing of protocol, grace and good manners. It behooves him as president to represent his office at these events. But he must think he has no moral obligation. I apologize for my rant, folks, and for diverging from my usual detached objectivity. I don’t like or respect this person. He is not my president. He is the worst example of a Gemini Sun conjunct Uranus. (Don’t get me wrong, I know a lot of very fine Gemini people.) I pray for this country.
