Samhain (Halloween, All Saints’ Eve) is coming up, that most mystical time of year. Also, the midpoint of the autumn season, this is a traditional Celtic holiday. Crisp, cool weather, cider, pumpkins, candy corn, witches and spirits in the night. Remember this is the best time for divination, to contact the other world, have Tarot readings or visit a psychic. Intuition is stronger now. Pay attention to your dreams and write them down.
Arcturus is a fortunate, golden red star in Bootes, 24° Libra, of the nature of Mars and Jupiter. If in conjunction with planets in your chart, it gives riches, honors, high renown, self-determination and prosperity from navigation and sea voyages. It is big, bright and twinkly with red and gold sparkles. Arcturus is near the Big Dipper. Spica is close by, in longitude (23° Libra, but near Virgo), just below Arcturus and slightly to the right. Arcturus, Spica and Regulus form the Spring Triangle. Bear in mind that now the night air will be cold and clear, without the summer haze, so star visibility will be much better. Bundle up, go out and look!
Other star views: Antares is the brightest star in Scorpio. Cassiopeia is in the northwest to the east of the Big Dipper. It looks like a triangle. You can see the Big Dipper all year round, it just rotates. Late in November you can see the Pleiades, Orion and Sirius the Dog Star, very bright, bluish in color, in the southeast. In November Vega is high in the western sky, after dark, 6:30pm or so. It is a blue-white star. Altair is below Vega, to the left. Above Vega, to the left, is Deneb and the constellation Cygnus. Vega, Altair and Deneb are known as the Summer Triangle. At Halloween Jupiter rises in the east, after sunset. Venus can be seen before dawn.
Edgar Cayce has said that Arcturus has one of the most advanced civilizations in this galaxy. It exists in the fifth dimension and is the prototype for Earth’s future. Its energies work as emotional, mental, and spiritual healers for humanity. Arcturus is also an energy gateway through which humans pass during death and re-birth. Individuals pass through Arcturus and choose whether to return to the Earth-sun system or move on to other systems. This is a step towards soul evolution. I read once that when Jesus ascended to heaven, Arcturus was where his soul went. It might have been Edgar Cayce that said that.
I figured out that it is indeed Arcturus I’ve been staring at after sunset from my bedroom window. (Late summer and autumn) Before I identified it, I imagined it was a UFO and would often stare at it and try to communicate with it. Maybe I have been to Arcturus at some point. People can do that if they choose, if they are more highly evolved. People under the Arcturus influence have greater abilities. They are more connected to nature and other worlds.
Celestial Almanac: Libra New Moon: Solar eclipse (Ring of fire) October 14, Taurus Full Moon October 28. The annular Solar Eclipse will be visible 9:13 PDT to 12:03 CDT from Oregon to Texas, over the Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, Central America, Panama, Colombia and Brazil. I won’t get to see it in New Jersey but if you’re down that way you will!
With the Sun and Mars in Libra the first half of the month, relationships are still the main concern. Close friendships or projects with one other person, such as a contractor. There may be confrontations or disagreements. Meet the other guy half way and compromise. You can learn from this. Marriage can be a little bumpy or it can be fun. Sparks fly. Make the most of it. Mercury here improves communications, or you get things out in the open and work it all out.
Jupiter here is for the most part very fortunate. Let the good times roll and enjoy life for the next several months, through next May. You are optimistic, in good spirits.
